Discrimination in Sports sucks

"A Quebec taekwondo team consisting mainly of Muslim girls withdrew from a tournament after they were barred from taking part while wearing their hijabs."

It sucks when a young 11-years old girl get treated this way when she is doing nothing more than playing a sport or hobby.
I wonder when all this bull-shit would stop.

Blogging in Egypt

Today I was reading an article named "Bloggers' search for anonymity" on BBC. I was really sad to see my country's name in there. I believe that we're living a good era (regarding freedom of speech) here relative to what our parents and grand parents used to though I can't deny that we still have a long way ahead.

To my friends who are addicted to PS

"The Chinese government has clamped down on the amount of time youngsters can spend playing online games, according to the official news agency Xinhua.

Under-18s who play for more than three consecutive hours a day will have limits imposed on the amount of points they can score, the agency reported.

Online game companies based in China have been given three months to install the so-called anti-addiction software." BBC

Apple says 100m iPods sold

"More than five years after going on sale, Apple Inc. said it sold its 100 millionth iPod, solidifying the device's position as the fastest-selling music player.

Consumers have embraced the iPod, which went on sale in November 2001, far more quickly than they did Sony Corp.'s Walkman, the pioneering cassette player and headphones introduced in 1979 that changed how people listened to music. It took Sony about 14 years to sell 100 million Walkman devices." More...

At last..... A vacation

At last, I had a vacation for two days. Last time it was Siwa in September - 7 months away - when Adam was here in Egypt. This time it was a safari too, not to Siwa, but Ras Mohammed just next to Sharm El-Sheikh. It was like paradise for me. Away from the work, stress, crowd, and pollution.
I have to thank Hany El-Naggar, the one who motivated to make this trip. Though I was sick before going over there - I'm still suffering from this infection in my throat - but i insisted to go.
The camp was really cool, we arrived really late on Friday were we slept in the sleeping bags. The weather was great.

The camp:

Next day we went diving in Shark's Observatory and Anemone City.

At the night we set a beautiful fire

Next day i had a dive in Marsa Bereika with this beautiful guy named Shady, who has 17 years experience in diving. He taught me a lot actually. Thank you Shady for everything.

This is what i call a great trip
