Bush Fans:)

"The Pew Institute’s survey of 45,239 people in 47 nations shows support for the US has dropped sharply among traditional allies in the West, including Britain, as well as substantial declines elsewhere in Latin America, Eastern Europe, China and the Middle East."
" Global distrust of President Bush is mutating into an almost worldwide sentiment of antiAmericanism, according to the world’s most comprehensive poll of international opinion" Times

QUOTATION OF THE DAY!!!

In the NYTimes Headlines email i receive daily, I was shocked with the quotation of the day section:

"There are two things here. There is poverty, and there is smuggling."

IBRAHIM SAWARKA, on life in Egypt along the Sinai border.

Reading the article, i remembered President Mubarak commenting about the tunnels problem saying that if there is a tunnel it has two ends, you can always close one end.
Though i agree with the poverty fact, i guess that there is an exaggeration in the situation.
Is the situation that bad?

BBC being impartial

While checking BBC's feed today, I passed over this post, unveiling an internal report saying that "BBC must become more impartial". I guess this is the first time for me to experience such an incident (Publishing a critique about yourself conducted by yourself).

Who is Obama?

The Economist summarizes the answer for this question in a very nice article.
