New Era

Right now I'm writing from the new office. A much more bigger office with 2 floors that overlooks Messaha Square and has a side view of Mokkatem and the Nile. Its beautiful over here, a little bit hot but its definitely nicer than the old office.
I still have a long to-do list for finishing the new office, I'll address it one by one.
After a LONG weekend that was spend in arranging the move, painting, network preparation, fixing curtains, getting plumber, etc... but i really enjoyed every single second.
I feel like I'm moving to a new era, its not just the location, its everything thats happening within SilverKey these days. The whole restructuring organizing procedures that are planned.
Lets pray for more success.

Ramadan

Ramadan is almost over, probably it will end this Friday. As usual it was really hectic, and nice at the same time. Since I moved to Cairo i don't enjoy it as much as i do in Alexandria. Surrounded by all the family members on Iftar. All these invitations from friends and relatives for Iftar or Sehour. Attending Tarawih or Tahagod prayers with all the friends.
I still do these activities in Cairo but, one, it is not regular, two, it is not as nice.
I guess it is the spiritual thing that I miss here in Cairo. The coffee after Iftar with friends waiting for Tarawih, the good sheikhs' I pray with, all the regular gathering, Sporting club, everything.
By far, Ramadan is the worst month I spend in Cairo.

The first rule of career planning

"Do not plan your career!

The world is an incredibly complex place and everything is changing all the time. You can't plan your career because you have no idea what's going to happen in the future. You have no idea what industries you'll enter, what companies you'll work for, what roles you'll have, where you'll live, or what you will ultimately contribute to the world. You'll change, industries will change, the world will change, and you can't possibly predict any of it.

Trying to plan your career is an exercise in futility that will only serve to frustrate you, and to blind you to the really significant opportunities that life will throw your way.

Career planning = career limiting.

The sooner you come to grips with that, the better." More...

Just got into this piece, I totally agree with it, I'd just like to add that you have to set some broad goals, and when I say BROAD, I mean it. It will help in guiding you!
