Smoking in Egypt - 2009

According to the Egyptian Authority for Statistics, number of smokers stand at 13 million in Egypt. We consume 80 billion cigarettes a year costing 8 billion pounds (1USD = 5.6 Egyptian Pounds). This represents almost 22% of their income.
